“Hello.” Owen said as brightly as he could muster. He just wanted to get this over and done with. As it turned out, it was a hard thing to commit your once best friend to a psych hospital. Owen knew Cristina was less than thrilled to be there but he needed her there when it was all over with because he wasn’t sure how well  he would handle it.”You almost ready?” Owen asked Teddy as he looked by the door and saw some of her bags.  

Teddy looked at them “Yes I am ready to go!” Teddy knew that Cristina was still really upset and knew this was stressing Owen. Teddy looked At them and said “I am ready to do this and get better!” then she looked at Owen and smiled “Owen its ok! Cristina I am sorry for everything but thanks for coming and being here with Owen l

Teddy thought she was going to get off with a simple apology but Cristina wasn’t so lenient “Fine Teddy whatever, let’s just go” Cristina sighed a little she squeezed Owen’s hand a bit just assuring him that she was there for him and him only they did not need the stress of Teddy and were glad she was finally getting some help but Cristina held grudges she was known for it, once you betrayed her loyalty it was hard getting back on her good side.  

Owen appreciated the squeeze and smiled a bit at her. “I know.” He said looking back at Teddy. He helped take some of her stuff out to his truck. Owen leaned against the back of the truck and sighed. He shook his head at himself, trying to compose himself before he headed back into the house. Owen walked back into the house and smiled a bit at Teddy. “Is there anything else you want to take?” He asked Teddy who looked a little nervous.

Izzie had finally gotten word of the fact that Teddy was finally on her way to phsyc. She loved Teddy, really, but she knew that that was where Teddy needed to go. At least for a while until she was better. Teddy had really scared people and caused a large amount of unnecessary drama starting with…

Teddy was packing and watching Lacey pout at her. She felt bad for little Lacey but she knew she had to go to psych. Teddy got a text for Izzie and she was coming over to visit before Teddy left. She went and started the coffee marker and waited for Izzie. She heard Izzie knock at the door and opened it and hugged Izzie “Hey Iz how are you?”

Izzie hugged her friend as she entered the house and closed the door behind her. “I’m good, I am so happy you chose to listen to me…” Izzie gave Lacey a hug. She turned back to Teddy, smiling, “Really, I think this is a smart decision you are making. Alex and I have talked a lot about it and he agrees, so does the rest of them.” Izzie sat down on the couch and looked up at Teddy.

Teddy smiled at Lacey and ask “Iz you want a cup of Coffee?” Teddy then got up a got two cups and sit back down. She then said “Well Iz I think it is best too! Well I didn’t until I talked to Dalton last night. Yes he actually talk to me last night! I went to the resturant he works at he was working and we sat and talked for the longest time. He said that I needed to get help and that he would keep the twins while I did and that made Lacey mad. He told me he would come home and we could be a family so hopefully this works out! How are you and Alex Iz?”

Izzie was over joyed at how things were working out for Teddy. “I’m so glad, you have no idea!” She took a sip of her coffee and smiled, “I think Dalton just wanted you to make an effort to feel better…that’s his way of knowing you are okay enough for him to stay!” Izzie took Teddy’s hand the second she mentioned Alex. “Oh my god Teddy, we are wonderful!” Izzie looked at Lacey and asked if she would leave for just as second so she could tell Teddy something private. When Lacey was out of hearing distance Izzie leaned in, “The other day we had the most amazing sex in the on call room! Oh my God it was insanity!” Izzie squealed.

Teddy smiled big and was so happy for Iz she couldn’t stand it. She said “Iz oh my gosh thats just great Iz I am so happy for you and it was insanity? But sex in the on call rooms seem to always be great! Well When I ever have it has been amazing and I am so happy for you Iz! I just can’t hold in all this happiness!” Teddy took a sip of her coffee and then ask “I don’t know what I will do with Lacey because I don’t want to put her off on you and hurt your relationship? And will you talk to her?”

“I can’t take her, I’m sorry. Alex and I are trying to spend time happily alone together before we begin having children of our own. However, I will talk to her for you if you’d like? Does she know you need to give her up?…” Izzie shifts in her seat suddenly sad and uncomfortable, this poor girl has been bounced around and abused her whole life…Izzie looks at Teddy, “If you wanna call her back in here we can talk together with her about what is best for her…”

Teddy frowned “I know you do need that! And thank you but I am not guving her up I am not. I thought about it but I am going to keep her. She is way to sweet to give away.” Teddy got up and got Lacey and they sit back down on the couch. Lacey looked them and said “Mom I love you why would you leave me! Iz why would she want to leave me?”

Izzie smiled half heartedly at this poor girl, “It doesn’t matter why she’s going to leave for a while. The only thing that matters is that she will be back and you will still be hers. She’s not going to give you up, but she needs you to be strong and help out Dalton with the twins. Okay?” Izzie uses her arom closest to Lacey and she pulls her into an embrace kissing the top of her head. “It’s going to be fine! And once she’s better you can visit her anytime! You can visit me as well okay? And uncle Alex! He’s my fiance, I’m sure he would love to meet you sometime.”
